Saeem Ayub nominated for Emerging Cricketer of the Year

Pakistan's aggressive opener Saim Ayub has been nominated for the ICC Men's Emerging Cricketer of the Year.

Opener Saeem Ayub, who showed aggressive batting in the tour of Australia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, has scored 515 runs with 3 centuries and a half-century in just 9 ODI matches.

Apart from this, England's Gus Atkinson, Sri Lanka's Kamindu Mendes, and West Indies' Shamar Joseph have also been nominated for the award.

Gus Atkinson has taken 52 wickets in 11 matches, Kamindu Mendes has scored 1451 runs in 32 games, and Shamar Joseph has taken 29 in 8 Test matches.

In the year 2024, awards will be given to the best performers in various categories, in this regard, the announcement of nominations will continue till December 30.

The names of the recipients of the awards will be announced at the end of January, with the ICC Awards recognizing the best performers in 12 categories.
