IBSF World 6 Red Snooker Championship 2024, Pakistan won Their First Match

On the first day of the IBSF World 6 Red Snooker Championship 2024, Pakistan won their first match, Pakistani players Asjad Iqbal and Owais Munir performed brilliantly.

In Mongolia, 40 players worldwide participated in the championship, divided into 10 groups. Two players from each group will advance to the knockout stage.

Pakistan's quester Asjad Iqbal easily defeated Mongolia's Ulzitog Davasorn by 1-4 on the first day.

Asjad played a brilliant game and broke 75 twice. Frame scores for Asjad's victory were 18-50, 0-75, 0-82, 0-73 and 0-64.

Owais Muneer also made a great comeback to beat Mongolia's Mendasaikan Erdan 2-4. Despite losing two frames, Owais played the best game to win the match. Their match frame scores were 0-64, 20-45, 0-54, 10-54, 21-53 and 15-46.

On the second day of the championship, Pakistan's Asjad Iqbal will face India's Pond Warangaya and Owais Munir will face Singapore's Jia Jin Ong.

On the same day in Syria, Asjad will face Iraq's Ali Jalil Ali and Owais will face Israel's Shacher Roberg.

The knockout stage matches in the event will start on September 22, when the last 20 and last 16 matches will be played, while the quarter-finals and semi-finals will be held on September 24. The final will be held on September 25.
